Alicia Berenson murdered her husband. They were married for seven years. She was a painter by profession and husband, Gabriel Berenson, was a photographer. He had a very elegant personality. He used to shoot half-naked women. Alicia’s paintings were not much famous rather there was notoriety. The day he was murders was the hottest day of the year. He woke up early than usual and went for chore. He came back at 11 p.m at his house. Meanwhile Alicia was doing her work usually.
After sometime their neighbour Barbie heard gunshots and called police. Police reached at Berenson’s house under three minutes. They entered Berenson’s house it was dark without any light. Light switches were not working. Everything was looking very dull and dark. They entered in living room and saw Gabriel tied up with the chair and was dead. Alicia was standing in front of the fireplace. Everything looked charred. Blood was everywhere like rivulets. A cop saw Alicia’s wrists were bleeding. They grabbed her and took to the hospital.
Later on we came to know that she was accused of her husband’s death. She remained silent all the time. She didn’t deny or confess anything which makes her more suspicious. People were oblivious about what actually happened or why it happened. There were many rumors but Alicia was still silent. When she was on the house arrest, she didn’t sleep or ate anything. Her nurse told the cops that she is not fine she only paints and says nothing. I thought she was in trauma but as the time passed she didn’t speak a single word depicts that she was not mentally stable.People started talking about her that she is mad, cold-hearted bitch who killed her husband.
I wanted to introduce myself in the start but I didn’t consider it appropriate because this wasn’t my story. I am Theo Faber. I am psychotherapist by profession. I had a great interest in knowing what happened actually. During the house arrest Alicia made a painting which was more a self portrait. She wrote only a single Greek word at the end which was “Alcestis”. It represents a sad love story in which the man was willing to sacrifice for the love of his life and the women also wanted to save her love of life. While staring at the painting in the exhibition I heard people calling Alicia as a monster, demon, a women who killed her husband in cold blood. People hated her.
The court of justice referred her to psychiatric unit because Proff. Domeds declared her as mentally sick patient who needed therapy. I wanted to treat her. I empathizes her. I left my job at Broadmoor and went to Groove in first place as i heard there was an opportunity. I became psychotherapist because of my own childhood. My father had anger issues. He didn’t know ow to channelize his anger and rage. He used to beat me with his belt. I wanted to get rid of this life. I wanted to run. So, when I turned 18 , i got admission in the university far away from my home. I left my house but i was unable to get rid of my father.
He was everywhere in my mind. I can hear his voices in my head. I took paracetamols to end my life, I waited for death but it never came. I was in the misery of eternity just then i decided to live and be a better man. In my adolescence,I decided my vocation as a psychotherapist. I used to visit a psychotherapist and it helped me a lot. I wanted to help and treat Alicia that’s why i decided to move to Grove. When I came to Grove I first met Yuri, he was the nurse he welcomed me. After that I met Staphine Clark manager of the Grove.
I first entered in the community meeting. I saw some familiar faces but there were many patients. I met Proff Domeds he introduced me with the community members. I looked at the patients to find Alicia. I looked two times around the room and I was unable to find her just then I saw her. She looked murky but I decided to treat her.
I was never loved by anyone throughout my whole life except my father. My father was the only one person who loved me with his whole heart. He took care of my all things and never let me feel sad and alone. I loved him so much that I can’t even imagine my life without him therefore when my father died I couldn’t bear the loss of his death. I was so heartbroken that I lost my senses. I didn’t know what to do. When entire town showed up at my house on my father’s funeral, I was senseless. I didn’t know what was happening. I was in the state of denial. I didn’t want my father dead. My neighbor came and said : “Sorry for your loss, Miss Emily.” I didn’t remember what I said in return, but I am sure I did not accept the fact that my father was no longer alive.
After sometime when I regain my senses, I started to believe that I have actually lost my father. I was alone. I cried a lot. I felt that now there is no one in the world who loves me. I was not mentally sick but some people made me believe that I am a sick woman and mad, but they didn’t know how it felt when you lost the only person who loves you and now you are alone without any love and care from anyone. I was thirty at that time and single. My servant named Tobe was with me in the house. He cleaned the house bought things from market and took care of my house. He was very quiet just like me. We didn’t talk too much, but he was very responsible. I stayed at my house I didn’t go anywhere. I did not want to do anything at all.
Just then I saw a man who was from north named Homer Barron. He was a day laborer. I felt for him at once. I was so lonely and searching for love and a companion. So, when he showed interest in me I could not resist. I saw him working through my window daily. He showed up at my house every day after finishing his work. I went with him to visit the town and eat. I was happier than ever. After a long time I felt alive. I thought that I finally found someone who loves me like my father. I started going in and out.
Then suddenly out of nowhere my kinsfolk from Alabama came and just then Homer left. I was so heartbroken at that time. He abandoned me. I went into the same phase when my father died. I again felt lonely and unwanted. People thought that I will become mad again, and I am not strong enough to bear the loss of my another loved one but I kept my head high even though I was falling a part because I was Emily Grierson and I have to keep the dignity of my family name. I went to the drug dealer and said: “I want some poison such as arsenic.” He asked “Madam why do you want it?”. I didn’t say anything except for this: “I want this for RATS.” I bought arsenic home.
When I came back Tobe was waiting for me, but he didn’t say a word. He observed me and a packet in which I put arsenic. I was miserable at that time. Next day in the evening the door bell rang.Tobe went to open the door. Homer was there standing right in front of the door. Tobe let him in. I was shocked to see him because I thought that he deserted me. Just then I decided that I will never let homer go again, so I put arsenic in his food and fed him. I have decorated our wedding room. I was very happy that now we will stay together. I kept Homer with me in our room and finally found the love of my life.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
